Hey I'm Katie, I've been apart of the Hair Mechanix & Co team since 2014 and the new proud owner since 2021. So it is safe to say, this is my home. I am super proud of where we are today and my team never stops making me proud. I am still full time in salon so come and see me for all your Blonde, Balayage & Bridal needs. One of the perks of being apart of the furniture is creating my family clientele. I love watching my young clients grow from their first haircut appointments, through to attending their first school ball. I think that there is something special about that. I pride myself on being the stylist that Mum, Dad & the kids can book in with.

Hi I'm Camille, but the girls just call me Cam. I've been in the Hairdressing industry for 23 years in both New Zealand & Australia. In Hawkes Bay where I trained I jumped straight into my creative work with competitions & photography. I enjoy all things hairdressing, and I'm here to give you the perfect advice on what will and won't work for you. I'm proud to say I am now salon Manager, working along side Katie & our Girls. I am really into our Special Occasion Hair Ups, Colour work and Mens Hair Cuts.

Hey I'm Clare and I've been apart of the Hair Mechanix & Co team for the past 7 years. My favourite part of my job is really my clients and making them happy with every appointment. I specialise in blondes now with a massive clientele for all my foiling and balayage work. I am also who you would come and see for your yearly permanent straightening and 5 monthly QiQi appointments. 

Hi Guys, I'm Raynor but my girls just call me Ray. I have been a massive part of the Hair Mechanix & Co team for the past 12 years. In those 12 years I have been in and out with having my 4 babies who are my pride and joy. I am back now, Finally! Full time in the salon. This is where I thrive & hair dressing is something I still love. The girls will say that I am the most creative stylist in salon with my never ending research with my colour work. I also really enjoy my cutting and love helping my clients to achieve the look they are after.  Short or long cuts I am your lady. 

Hello, I am Ngapera ( also known as Ngaps ). I joined the team in 2019 to start my apprenticeship and I am stoked to say I'm officially a Qualified Hairstylist! Being apart of the team has definitely brought me out of my shell and I am loving now being a stylist. I thrive off working hard and this year I have built up my clientele while also helping along side Katie to keep things flowing in the salon. I love being apart of a team that backs me and is always encouraging me to strive. I am taking all clients but really enjoy my colour work, long hair cuts, Qiqi & Permanent straightens. 

Hey, I'm Hannah but our team calls me Han. After attending Tauraha College locally I then moved to Auckland and studied to achieve my Makeup Artistry Qualification. Eventually Taupo did its thing and pulled me back to the slower pace and closer to my family. I wanted to expand my qualifications in a way that can work along side one and another, and that's how I joined the Hair Mechanix & Co team! As of 2024 I am a fully qualified Makeup Artist & Hair Dresser. I can't wait to see what is ahead. Book in with me for all your foils/balayages, Qiqi treatments, long hair cuts and styles. Hi, I’m Monique, but the girls just call me mon. I was born in Mount Maunganui and moved here to Taupo when I was eight and absolutely love it here. I have just recently joined the girls at Hair Mechanix (2025) and am absolutely enjoying working together with such a beautiful team! I have completed a business qualification and currently doing an accounting qualification. I’m currently in my final year of my hairdressing apprenticeship and am stoked to be almost qualified.
